We are so excited for our upcoming summer season and we hope you are too! We have so much fun planned and want to make sure that everyone has a chance to participate this year!
We ask that you please plan accordingly for your upcoming summer months, and do not register unless you are positive that you will be attending the camps you register for.
We have wonderful new camps coming throughout the summer and are busy finalizing all of our details to send out to you as soon as possible! We will have a refund policy that is at the bottom of this email blast, and would like to express our utmost gratitude for participating in our camps this year!

2024 Kid's Camp

Calling all Kids Camp Campers from Maplewood and South Orange!

Join Maplewood Kids Camp this year for amazing, safe, and long lasting memories! (K-5). Children must be entering Kindergarten to enroll in Kids Camp.

Trips to the pool, arts & crafts and plenty of outdoor fun!

Limited spots available for Full day, Before and/or After care.* Please call the Recreation Department to sign up for Before and/ or After care. * subject to cancellation if low enrollment

Registration to open January 23, 2023

Session 1: June 24- June 28

Session 2:  July1- July 5 (no camp on July 4)

Session 3: July 8 - July 12

Session 4: July 15 - July 19

Session 5: July 22 - July 26

Session 6: July 29 - August 2

Session 7:  August 5- August 9

Session 8: August 12 - August 16

Session 2 prorated weeks

Summer Tennis Camp 2023:

Open to ages 6-14 located at the Memorial Park and Walter Park Tennis Courts

Monday through Thursday with Fridays reserved for rain dates from 9am-12pm* (session 2 exception due to holiday)

Camp consists of warm ups, stretching, drills, snack break, group drills, games, wrap-up.
Camp Curriculum:
• Stroke production - all basic strokes covered
• Drills designed to enhance individual success and improvement
• Strength, flexibility, and plyometric training
• Singles and doubles tactics/strategy

Session 1: June 24- June 27

Session 2:  July 1- July 5 (no camp on 7/4)**

Session 3: July 10 - July 13

Session 4: July 15 - July 18

Session 5: July 22 - July 25

Session 6: July 29 - August 1

Session 7:  August 5- August 8

Session 8: August 12 - August 15

*Please be advised no refunds will be offered past April 1, 2024for our camps. Enrollment cancellations prior to April 1 will receive a refund via check minus a $50 cancellation fee. Requests after this date will NOT be granted, except for medical emergencies, which require a doctor's note. Days missed may not be made up and will not result in credit or refund.
