The Maplewood Recreation Department offers a variety of programs geared for Coed Seniors (55 & older).
Upcoming Programming:
Introduction to Watercolor for Seniors:
Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:30am-11am
Learn the ins and outs of the beautiful medium. Florals, portraits, abstracts, and more will be covered in this fun and informative class. (Twice a week for 8 weeks beginning on January 10)

Watercolor II: Advanced Beginner:
Tuesdays & Thursdays 11:30am-1pm
This class is for those who have experience with the watercolor medium. (Class will be twice a week during 8 week session) at DeHart Community Center beginning January 10)

Exploring Art Materials:
Fridays beginning January 13 from 10am-11am
Each week we work in a different art material. We will try our hands at painting, collaging, printmaking, and more! Just bring yourself & your great ideas and you will have a blast! All materials provided.

Acrylic Painting 2:
Mondays & Wednesdays 12:30pm-2:30pm
Our earlier class filled up so fast, that we decided to add another opportunity for those interested in learning more about acrylic painting. Instructor: Cathy McCoy Bristol at 1978 Arts Center on Springfield Avenue.

What is revaluation?
-An understanding of why a revaluation is undertaken
-How it will be accomplished
-What does an increase in assessments mean
Many misconceptions associated with a revaluation can be dispelled if taxpayers are properly informed. Sound assessment administration depends on understanding and support of revaluation program.
