The Township of Maplewood is accepting applications for a Part-Time Jitney Bus Driver.

Duties include but are not limited to following a specified route daily, assisting passengers, record keeping (route attendance) and more. Applicant should possess a high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license—CDL with Passenger Endorsement Required. Available for overtime if needed, and must be able to work independently. This position will report to the Head Jitney Driver, as well as the Director and Superintendent of Public Works, operates a light duty passenger bus; carries out pickup and delivery of passenger assignments; performs related duties as required. Mandatory background check, drug and alcohol screening, driver’s license check. Hours are 5:30am-9:30am, extended hours of overtime may be required. The hourly rate is $18.80.
