Construction Inspections

Construction inspections are scheduled by calling (973) 762-8120 ext. 3700 or 3900 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Inspections are scheduled for the technical field in which they are required. Every effort is made to accommodate the schedules within the time the inspectors are available.

Please note: Do not leave a request for inspection on voicemail or email. A date and time has to be verified and cannot be without speaking with a staff member.

Submit a Construction Permit Application  

There are 2 ways to submit a Construction Permit Application:

1 ⇨ IN-PERSON 

Construction Permit Application Forms can be obtained at the Construction Division or downloaded here.

2 ⇨ MAIL-IN

Fillable Construction Permit Application Forms can be downloaded here and mailed to the Construction Division at 574 Valley Street, Maplewood, NJ 07040
